Played every pee-hole showcase club in L.A. we could find. John Gooley Sr. summed it up one night: "Why don't you guys get these club owners by the balls...and make them PAY YOU?" Never happen. This is L.A.!

Almost had a deal except we were considered "too new wave" by some bozo record producer. It's become a legacy that haunts us to this day.

Lots of jamming...lots of beer.

Best Gig: The Troubadour with legendary Doug Weston conducting us at 1:30 AM on a tuesday night.
