Not only do the viewers get to hear each song as a simple piano/voice or guitar/voice demo, but they get to see/hear the recording process as it unfolds, they are "in on the magic" of the recording process as it happens.

You Pick The Hit allows viewers to become intimately familiar with the songs and the artists. They will hear them first as simple demos; then as rehearsed by the session players, then mixed, then the final polished version of the song. By that time, the song is well-known to them and the artist's soul is laid bare.
